 must be human-centered and trustworthy. This concept is based on three spe
 cific requirements: AI must be lawful\, ethical\, and robust.This course b
 uilds on the webinar Grundlagen von Trustworthy AI and provides in-depth i
 nsights into the legal requirements that must be met when developing and u
 sing AI. In a one-hour online seminar\, knowledge about requirements arisi
 ng from the AI Act\, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)\, and c
 opyright law is imparted.At the end of the webinar\, participants will kno
 w which risk classes the AI Act recognizes and what requirements arise fro
 m them. Furthermore\, a solid understanding of data protection challenges 
 will be conveyed and the tasks that organizations must perform in order to
  use AI in a data protection compliant manner will be discussed. Finally\,
  an overview of copyright law will be provided in order to convey sensitiv
 ity to the use of works for training AI and awareness of the use of genera

 ffler is a computer scientist currently studying law. At AI Factory Austri
 a AI:AT\, he coordinates Law\, Ethics\, and Regulation. He has been workin
 g on issues at the intersection of technology and law for more than 17 yea
 rs. During this time\, he worked for renowned law firms\, served as the Da
 ta Protection Officer (DPO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) 
 of the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology – Austria's largest non-univ
 ersity research institution – and conducted research on digital fundamen
 tal rights. As an editorial board member of the journal Datenschutz konkre
 t (Dako)\, he continuously publishes on data protection issues and is invo
 lved in training data protection officers in collaboration with Business C
 ircle.Krisztina Rozgonyi (AI:AT – AI Factory Austria) DDr. phil. et iur
 . Krisztina Rozgonyi MBA is a Senior Scientist at the Austrian Institute o
 f Technology (AIT) within the Center for Innovation Systems & Policy. Her 
 work focuses on infocommunication policy and societal transformations\, di
 gital platform governance\, AI ethics and policy change\, as well as the r
 ule of law in governance. She has an extensive track record as a senior in
 ternational expert in media\, telecommunications\, and intellectual proper
 ty law and policy. She has collaborated with international and European or
 ganizations (such as the ITU/UN\, UNESCO\, Council of Europe\, European Co
 mmission\, World Bank InfoDev\, OSCE\, and BBC MA)\, national governments\
 , and regulators as an adviser on media freedom\, spectrum policy\, and di
 gital platform governance. She has also been deeply involved in legal and 
 policy reform processes. Before her academic career\, she served as the he
 ad of a Telecommunications Regulatory Authority in an EU Member State. Cur
 rently\, Dr. Rozgonyi is also affiliated with the Institute for Comparativ
 e Media and Communication Studies (CMC) at the Austrian Academy of Science
 s (ÖAW)\, where her research focuses on comparative media systems. She is
  furthermore a fellow with the policy platform at the Department of Commun
 ication of the University of Vienna. At AI:AT\, she collaborates closely w
 ith the Legal & Ethics Team\, supporting projects that embed trustworthy A
 I by design\, with a particular emphasis on intellectual property aspects
