Artificial intelligence (AI) must be human-centered and trustworthy. This concept is based on three specific requirements: AI must be lawful, ethical, and robust.

This webinar builds on the previous event Fundamentals of Trustworthy AI and provides deeper insights into the ethical aspects of artificial intelligence. In this one-hour webinar, case studies are used to convey knowledge about the ethical principles that AI must meet in order to be trustworthy. It also addresses the core requirements that arise from these principles. AI systems are only trustworthy if they comply with ethical requirements.

At the end of the webinar, participants will understand what is meant from an ethical perspective by terms such as human oversight, technical robustness, bias, non-discrimination, and fairness. They will have a basic understanding of how to identify ethical challenges and know what concrete steps need to be taken to identify trustworthy AI and promote the development of trustworthy AI.

Target audience

The webinar is aimed at individuals who are involved in compliance or adherence to ethical, legal, or regulatory requirements within organizations.

This webinar is open and free of charge for all participants from academia, industry, and public administration from EU and/or EuroHPC JU member countries.
