 rkshop explores key ethical dimensions of AI development\, with a particul
 ar focus on diversity and non-discrimination. It is designed to support pr
 actitioners in critically reflecting on their own AI solutions and transla
 ting ethical principles into practical development processes.In this 1.5-h
 our session\, participants will engage with core concepts of diversity and
  non-discrimination within AI-ethics\, while gaining practical tools to id
 entify and address potential risks and challenges in their projects. The w
 orkshops aims at increasing an in-depth understanding where these concepts
  might occur and why it is beneficial to focus on them. Key topics includ

 tioners working on AI solutions\, including developers\, data scientists\,
  and project stakeholders who are interested in reflecting on the ethical 
 dimensions of diversity and non-discrimination in their work.This course i

 ctive session.LecturersMag. Cornelia Reiter\, Bakk. MA (AI Factory Austria
  AI:AT)  Cornelia Reiter is a sociologist and scientist at the Center fo
 r Innovation Systems and Policy at AIT\, as well as member of the AI Facto
 ry Ethics and Legal Team and the AIT AI Ethics Lab and lecturer at the Vie
 nna University of Economics and Business. Her work focuses on AI ethics an
 d the organizational integration of AI\, particularly in industrial and or
 ganizational contexts. She specializes in responsible AI and examines how 
 organizations adopt\, structure\, and govern AI technologies in practice.
  Rodrigo Conde Jiménez\, B.A.\, MPA (AI Factory Austria AI:AT)     
                   Rodrigo is a PhD researcher at the Cen
 ter of Innovation Systems and Policy of the Austrian Institute of Technolo
 gy. He holds a B.A. in International Relations from the Corvinus Universit
 y of Budapest\, as well as a Master of Public Administration from the Cent
 ral European University. His work and research experience showcase his int
 erests in technology regulation\, as well as in the development and analys
 is of policymaking processes in the field of innovation and technology. Cu
 rrently he is working in topics related to the governance of AI\, and AI e
 thics\, and is currently writing a dissertation on the multilevel governan
 ce of AI. Elisabeth Weissitsch\, BA BA MA MA (Austrian Institute of Techn
 ology AIT)  Elisabeth is a scientist in the research field Innovation Po
 licy and Transformation at the Center for Innovation Systems and Policy. H
 er main areas of work include European governance\, mission-oriented polic
 y\, (social) sustainability\, and co-creation processes (especially for un
 derrepresented groups). In her master’s she focused on the European cris
 is management and the study of transformation processes in Southeastern Eu
 rope under a cultural historical lense. She has extensive experience in wo
 rkshop facilitation and an additional pedagogical background. She has work
 ed for over 6 years in the field of inclusion\, non-discrimination and div
 ersity in NGOs and as an advisor and lecturer for inclusive pedagogy in th
