Michael Löffler (AI Factory Austria AI:AT)
DI Michael Löffler is a computer scientist currently studying law. At AI Factory Austria AI:AT, he coordinates Law, Ethics, and Regulation. He has been working on issues at the intersection of technology and law for more than 17 years. During this time, he worked for renowned law firms, served as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology – Austria's largest non-university research institution – and conducted research on digital fundamental rights. As an editorial board member of the journal Datenschutz konkret (Dako), he continuously publishes on data protection issues and is involved in training data protection officers in collaboration with Business Circle.
