Learn how to automate recurring reporting processes with n8n — from collecting and structuring data to preparing consistent, reusable reports.
This workshop focuses on the automation of recurring financial reporting processes using n8n. Participants work through a practical reporting workflow and learn how information from different sources can be collected, structured and prepared automatically.
The workflow demonstrates how data can move through multiple processing steps while remaining transparent and traceable. Participants learn how to transform incoming information into a consistent structure, apply validation and processing logic, and prepare the resulting data for further analysis or reporting.
Where useful, AI can be integrated to support tasks such as summarisation or the generation of explanatory text. The emphasis remains on creating reliable and reusable workflows rather than replacing deterministic financial processing with AI. The course will take place from 13:00 to 16:30!
What you will learn:
- Collect information from different data sources
- Automate recurring reporting steps
- Structure and transform data inside an n8n workflow
- Integrate AI selectively for summaries and narrative output
- Validate incoming data and handle incomplete information
- Design workflows that are reusable, transparent and maintainable
